Thank you to those that have contacted me with scans and pictures, which have been acknowledged on here, but I’m surprised more people haven’t come forward with memorabilia that I haven’t shown, as yet.

We’re now looking towards the Football Club’s 135th Anniversary! (1889-2024) and would really like to get as many new photos, press releases preferably, or even paper cuttings etc with photos on, to start creating an archive.

As with many companies in the past, photographic archives were destroyed, for whatever reason, and therefore it’s essential to seek as many original pictures as we can, to copy, for all to see.

We would dearly love to know the whereabouts of the Wakefield Photographic Archive or what happened to it – they had shops in Brentford, Ealing and Chiswick in the 1880’s to 1930’s. Sadly, it seems as though everything was again destroyed, unless someone can help us out?
